For the 202 Stanley Cup Playoffs, Quince Imaging partnered with the Tampa Bay Lightning to create custom projection mapping content that transformed Benchmark International Arena into an immersive playoff environment. Designed specifically for the intensity and emotion of postseason hockey, the show featured dramatic player introductions, lightning-inspired visual effects, team branding, playoff messaging, and high-energy animations synchronized with music, lighting, and arena presentation elements.
Working closely with the Lightning’s game presentation team, Quince developed original 3D content tailored to the team’s identity and playoff atmosphere. The ice surface became a dynamic storytelling canvas, featuring custom visuals that celebrated the team’s history, energized the crowd, and built anticipation before puck drop. Every sequence was designed to maximize fan engagement while creating memorable moments for both in-arena audiences and broadcast viewers.
The production utilized a laser projection mapping systems, advanced media servers, and precision show control technology to deliver seamless visuals across the entire ice surface and drop down screens. Integrated with arena lighting, audio, and live production cues, the playoff presentation created a fully immersive experience that elevated one of the NHL’s most passionate fan bases.
