Do you rent projectors or video equipment?
No. Quince Imaging is not a rental house or wholesale projector provider. We deliver full-service solutions for live events, which include projection mapping and LED video wall technology, servers, controls, broadcast video systems, and most importantly, our experienced team plans, operate and support the system for your live events.
- Live Events: We provide temporary activations with full-service support.
- Perminant Installs: We design and integrate turnkey systems tailored to your venue and train your staff how to operate.
How do you manage risk during live events?
Our goal is zero surprises on show day. Risk mitigation is central to our process and we have over four decades of experience to ensure your project is a success:
- Redundant systems and failover planning
- Pre-visualization and virtual testing
- Thorough onsite commissioning
- Experienced engineers and operators.
How much does projection mapping cost for a live event?
Projection mapping costs vary based on scale, brightness, content complexity, venue conditions, and event duration. As a general guideline:
- Small to mid-scale events: $75,000–$150,000+
- Large venues, arenas, or outdoor façades: $125,000–$350,000+
- Permanent or seasonal systems: Prices can range from $100,000 to over $100,000,000+ based on many variables. Please contact us for a custom quote for your event.
Pricing typically includes system design, equipment, setup, operation, and teardown. Content creation, venue rigging, and extended run times may be scoped separately.
How long does it take to install and set up projection mapping for an event?
Setup time depends on venue complexity and system scale:
- Simple indoor events: 6-12 hours
- Arena or large-format installs: 3-10 days
- Complex outdoor or architectural mapping: Several days, including testing and calibration
Quince Imaging uses pre-visualization and virtual alignment workflows to significantly reduce onsite setup time and minimize venue downtime.
Can your video systems integrate with existing venue technology?
Absolutely. We integrate with existing LED boards, broadcast systems, lighting and audio, venue networks, and control platforms, designing systems that enhance what’s already in place.
Do you handle both temporary events and permanent installs?
Yes. We support one-night events, multi-day activations, touring productions, season-long deployments, and permanent installations. Many clients begin with a live event and expand into a long-term system after seeing the impact.
Can you support touring or multi-city events?
Yes. Our systems and workflows are built for scalability, consistency, and repeatability across multiple venues and cities. We have extensive experience working in the DC metro area as well as nationwide and internation events.
Does Quince provide content creation?
Yes. Quince Imaging offers full creative services, including 3D animation, motion graphics, and real-time data integration (player stats, live feeds, fan engagement activations). We can also collaborate with your in-house creative team or third-party agencies to ensure content is optimized for projection.
IMPRESSIVE RESULTS
Quince Imaging partnered with William & Mary to bring this unique immersive dining experience to life celebrating a transformational $100M gift launching the Batten School of Coastal & Marine Sciences. Together, we transformed the event space with 40 projection-mapped tables featuring custom centerpiece fabrication. The on-stage visuals came to life with a 2.6mm Unilumin LED display, complemented by a live camera package and custom 3D projection mapping content that showcased stunning underwater and coastal scenes.
