Arlington National Cemetery

Arlington National Cemetery’s 150th Anniversary

To mark the conclusion of Arlington National Cemetery’s month-long 150th Anniversary Commemoration, Quince Imaging supported a historic first for the national shrine, an evening performance inside the Memorial Amphitheater, paired with a full military honors wreath ceremony held on June 15–16, 2014.

For this landmark moment, Quince Imaging delivered the projection mapping systems used to visually tell the story of Arlington National Cemetery’s legacy. Through carefully designed imagery and precise alignment within the Memorial Amphitheater, the installation brought the history of the cemetery to life, honoring generations of service members who served in times of war and peace.

The projection experience was viewed by hundreds of thousands of active-duty military members, veterans, and their families, creating a powerful and reflective environment that balanced technological innovation with the solemnity of the setting. This project demonstrated how building projection mapping can be used with dignity and restraint to enhance storytelling at national memorials, commemorations, and historically significant events.

Quince Imaging is proud to have contributed to this once-in-a-lifetime tribute, helping preserve and present the legacy of one of the nation’s most sacred places through immersive visual storytelling.
