125th Anniversary Gala Projection Mapping

The National Geographic Society celebrated its 125th Anniversary with a landmark gala at the iconic National Building Museum in Washington, DC. The event honored more than a century of exploration, science, education, and storytelling—bringing together global leaders, supporters, and partners for an unforgettable evening.

To match the scale and prestige of the occasion, Quince Imaging delivered large-format 4K video projection mapping services throughout the Museum’s expansive Great Hall. High-resolution projections transformed the architecture into a dynamic visual environment, featuring breathtaking imagery ranging from exotic wildlife and remote ecosystems to dramatic natural landscapes.

Content was displayed along the second-floor perimeter as well as on a prominent stage screen, creating a fully immersive visual experience that surrounded guests and reinforced National Geographic’s legacy of discovery. The carefully calibrated projections enhanced the atmosphere without overpowering the space, elevating the gala’s production value while preserving the elegance of the historic venue.

By combining technical precision with creative storytelling, Quince Imaging helped deliver a visually striking celebration that amplified the event’s impact and added a true “wow factor” to this once-in-a-generation milestone.
