On April 5, 2024, Quince Imaging teamed up with Todo Productions, to orchestrate a stunning live production for the prestigious Horatio Alger Awards at DAR Constitution Hall in Washington, DC.  Dedicated to bringing our long-time client’s vision to life, the Quince team ensured that every aspect of the event production highlighted the remarkable charitable achievements of the nominees. Our expert handling of the live broadcast underscored the significance of the occasion, creating a seamless and impactful viewing experience for the guests in attendance.

Technical Execution:

Quince Imaging employed a comprehensive 9-camera setup designed to capture every significant ceremony moment with cinematic quality. The configuration included:

• Advanced Camera Systems: Jib, wireless handheld cameras, and a Ross mobile flypack ensured dynamic and versatile coverage.
• Visual Displays: LED solutions provided by Pete’s Big TV enhanced the event’s visual impact, delivering clear and vibrant imagery that complimented the venue’s grandeur.
• Audio Arrangement: ADI supplied high-quality audio services, ensuring that every word and note at the event was crisply and clearly delivered.

DAR Constitution Hall, Washington D.C.’s largest concert hall, is a landmark of historical and cultural significance. Opened in 1929, it hosts over half a million patrons annually and is designated a National Historic Landmark. Its storied walls provided a fitting backdrop for an event dedicated to commemorating resilience and achievement.
