Quince Imaging Provides HD Production
System for D.C. Live Earth
Quince Imaging, provider of high-end video display and
production services, furnished an all-digital mobile
production platform, video, high-resolution graphics,
an upstage LED wall and HD production support for the
D.C. Live Earth Broadcast
on July 7, 2007.
With the U.S. Capitol Building as a backdrop,
Quince Imaging erected a 12’ X 21’
LED wall on stage at the National Museum of the
American Indian for display of Live Earth downlinks
from around the world. Marc Herring, Executive
Producer of the D.C. Live Earth show, chose Quince
Imaging because of their history of providing
mega-screen, high-resolution imaging services
for outdoor events.
Live Earth at MSN named D.C.
the “best” global venue!
“Best venue, global: They all had
their great points, but we lean toward the ultra
simple (small carbon imprint) stage in Washington,
D.C., where Garth Brooks, Trisha Yearwood and
two other singers stood around small mikes with
a low scrim behind them. In such a global event,
the stage at the National Museum of the American
Indian seemed truly intimate.“
