Quince Imaging Partners on 9/11 Tenth Anniversary Concert for Hope Broadcast
September 11, 2011 (Washington, DC) - Quince Imaging was honored to partner with The National Cathedral and Interface Media Group on A Call to Compassion, a three-day observance of the tenth anniversary of 9/11 that concluded with Sunday evening's live broadcast special, Concert for Hope. Hosted by Emmy Award winning news anchor Anderson Cooper, the concert featured performances by the Marine Chamber Orchestra, The Washington National Choir, country music star Alan Jackson, R&B legend Patti LaBelle and American mezzo-soprano opera singer Denyce Graves. In addition to moving remarks made by The Very Rev. Samuel T. Lloyd III, Dean of the Washington National Cathedral and several key representatives of 9/11 families of victims, President Barack Obama addressed the nation with reflections of the events of 9/11 and the progress we've made as a nation since that tragic day.
For the 3 day event, Quince Imaging provided HD I-MAG projection and display across multiple screens driven by their high resolution Vista Spyder multi-image processing and switching system and interfacing seamlessly with the HD broadcast production truck for the event.
The live broadcast aired on multiple networks and C-SPAN's coverage can be seen HERE.
